Jonathan Green 3 lb. Black Beauty Dense Shade Grass Seed Mixture is a blend of four cool-season turfgrasses: tall fescue, Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, and fine fescues. This seed germinates in 14 to 21 days and has been proven to grow where other shady lawn seed mixtures have failed. It is perfect for use around mature trees and shrubs where the penetration of sunlight is limited. The improved turfgrass varieties possess beneficial endophytes for natural insect and disease resistance.
