Description

Cabot Gold Ultimate Exterior Wood Finish is a premium stain and sealer designed to protect and beautify exterior wood surfaces. The first coat penetrates the wood, while the second coat seals and adds dimension. The finish creates a look that mimics interior hardwood floors and works on decks, siding, fences and outdoor furniture.

The finish shields wood from the harshest environmental threats: ultraviolet sun damage, extreme temperature swings, heavy rain and moisture penetration. The sheen will weather gradually over time. It works only on sound, bare wood that is free of existing coatings, sealers, dirt and other contaminants.

Features and Benefits

  • Dual-Coat System: First coat penetrates deeply; second coat seals and adds visual depth.
  • UV and Weather Defense: Guards against sun damage, temperature extremes, rain and moisture.
  • Hardwood-Like Appearance: Creates a finish that mimics the look of interior hardwood floors.
  • Efficient Coverage: First coat covers approximately 250–350 square feet per gallon; second coat covers approximately 300–400 square feet per gallon.
  • Weathering Sheen: Sheen weathers gradually over time.
